How do I become a tutor?
Sign up and choose the tutor role, then complete your application: your subjects and grades, hourly rate, a short bio, and your ID and qualification documents. Our team reviews it and you go live once approved.
How much can I charge?
You set your own hourly rate in rand. You can change it at any time from your tutoring dashboard.
How and when do I get paid?
Your net earnings (after the platform commission) accrue as sessions are completed and paid. Once your available balance reaches the minimum, you can request a payout to your bank account from your earnings page.
How long does approval take?
Most applications are reviewed within 1 to 2 business days. We'll email you as soon as a decision is made.
Can I teach online, in person, or both?
Whatever suits you. You choose your teaching mode and set your weekly availability, which becomes the calendar students book from.
What if a student doesn't show up?
Our cancellation policy protects your time. Late cancellations and no-shows may be charged, and you can always report a problem to our team.
